After the dissolution of the GE Fanuc joint venture, which was finalized in December 2009, the former GE Fanuc CNC parts and systems business merged with Fanuc America. This new entity, which is called Fanuc CNC America, began operations January 1. Headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, this company provides CNC system sales and support as well as engineering, technical and automation services. It is said to be the largest CNC sales, service and support organization in the Americas.

“By combining the strengths of both organizations, we provide a stronger, more unified face to customers across all major industries, whether they are end users, machine tool builders, distributors or systems integrators,” says Tomo Ishibe, president and CEO.
