To improve internal efficiency and move manufacturing closer to customers, KOMET Group has relocated its Dulliken, Switzerland operations to plants in Germany and the U.S.

The move and integration of the knowledge and equipment is expected to be finalized by March 31, 2010. To ensure continuity for customers, Key personnel will continue to contribute know-how out of Stuttgart, Germany and the company’s U.S. headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The company says the restructuring supports its strategy to grow and develop the Dihart product family of reaming tools.
