Waterjet manufacturer Jet Edge (St. Michael, Minnesota) has acquired Calypso Waterjet Systems (Dallas, Texas). Calypso products include waterjet cutting machines, nesting software, abrasive feeder tanks, cutting heads and more. Jude Lague, president of Jet Edge, says he plans to reintroduce many of Calypso’s products under Calypso brand names, noting that the acquired company’s offering provides a quality entry-level waterjet solution for price-conscious buyers.
