ITW Workholding (Traverse City, Michigan) will now market its products under the name Forkardt. By focusing on the more globally recognized Forkardt brand name, the company aims to eliminate confusion in the market.
“The switch in names better positions our company’s global growth opportunities and will enable us to maximize penetration into those markets outside of the United States Midwest regions,” explains Bill Sepanik, newly appointed group general manager. He adds that rolling the ITW Workholding brands, which, in addition to Forkardt, include N.A. Woodworth, Sheffer, Logansport, SP Cylinders and Buck, into the new name will enable all segments of the business to move forward as one.
