Waterjet Corporation s.r.l. of Monza, Italy, has established Waterjet USA LLC to serve as its North American sales, service and parts organization. Massimo Denipoti will serve as president of Waterjet USA, located in Geneva, Illinois. The Italian machine builder specializes in 2D and 3D cutting systems for the metal fabrication and machining industries, among others.

“We made the decision to directly invest in the North America market,” stated Massimo Russo, Waterjet Corporation president, “as a logical next step to earlier successes here utilizing importers.” The company’s systems were previously sold by a Canadian distributor and, most recently, through Mitsubishi-owned MC Machinery (Wood Dale, Illinois). The North American company will offer two- to six-axis waterjet cutting systems as well as custom solutions.
