IQL Presents Metrology Seminar

IQL offers a machine tool metrology seminar to provide in-depth understanding of machine tool positioning accuracy and its impact on manufacturing process capability and on-machine measurement. The three-day session, scheduled for November 19 through 21 in Windsor, Connecticut, is presented in cooperation with Trident Machine Tools, LLC, a Haas Factory Outlet serving the New England region. Through lecture and hands-on demonstrations, the course aims to present methods required to measure and evaluate machine tool performance in simple, straightforward modules.

The course is recommended for manufacturing managers, manufacturing engineers and technicians who want to implement on-machine measurement and to improve machine tool productivity and process diagnostics. Topics covered will provide the basis for determining machine performance requirements and purchase specifications.
