Leaders-In background

Ingersoll Cutting Tools has begun construction on a new facility at its campus in Rockford, Illinois.

In addition to housing an automated product distribution center, the 50,000-square-foot facility will enable the company to open up more production space in existing buildings and speed customer deliveries. It will also serve as a technical center for the multiple training seminars, product tests and demonstrations conducted at the Rockford campus each year.

Architectural firm Tyson and Billy Architects designed the building to blend with the steel and glass elements of the two existing headquarters buildings. Rockford’s own Sjostrom & Sons, a design-build contractor, will oversee construction. The project is expected to be completed by March 1, 2012.
