Despite the economic downturn, Michigan-based Reid Supply Company continues to grow and expand its product offerings. To help potential customers navigate the large selection, the company has organized its product offering into 12 color-coded categories. These include manual controls; clamps and workholding; tooling components; fasteners and hardware; leveling devices and vibration control; material handling; bearings and power transmission; metalworking; maintenance; repair and operations; pneumatics and hydraulics; structural systems; and safety supplies. Along with the product expansion, the company has unveiled a new ad campaign to mark its 60th anniversary this year. Tagged "Reid's got more than you think," the campaign illustrates a series of employees eavesdropping and whispering secrets about the company's products. In addition, the company has re-launched its e-commerce Web site, ReidSupply.com, and added another warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana to cope with its expanded range of bearings and power transmission components.
