Hurco Companies Inc. has named industry veteran Sanjib Chakraborty as Country Head of Hurco India Pvt. Ltd. He has over 25 years of experience in the machine tool industry and his charter is to foster the growth of the Hurco brand of machine tools in India.
Mr. Chakraborty has extensive experience in sales, service and applications engineering of machine tools. He has in-depth knowledge of machining, tooling, programming, fixturing and workholding, in addition to managing a customer-centric service network.
“Hurco was founded in the United States almost 50 years ago,” says Hurco Companies Executive Vice President Himat Patel. “We started in India in 2006 and have since grown the business with hundreds of satisfied customers. But now it’s time to go to the next level. And Sanjib has the skill, the vision and the experience to make that happen.”
