Hurco Companies (Indianapolis, Indiana) has announced the promotion of Gregory S. Volovic to the role of president. Mr. Volovic has been with the company since 2005 and has played a role in its global expansion and growth. Most recently Mr. Volovic served as executive vice president of technology, operations, and North American sales and service.
Hurco also recently selected Excel Machine Technologies (Rochester, New York) to represent its line of CNC machining centers and turning centers in upstate New York. Excel will be responsible for Hurco sales, installation, warranty, training and applications in that area.
