Leaders-In background

Hurco (Indianapolis, Indiana) has acquired the machine tool component business of LCM Srl, an Italian designer and manufacturer of electro-mechanical components and machine tool accessories. LCM has previously served as a supplier of these components to Hurco. Hurco’s SRT line of five-axis machining centers, for example, features LCM’s direct-drive spindle, swivel head and rotary torque table. The acquisition is expected to support Hurco’s continued growth and development of machine tool technologies while fostering an expansion of the LCM product line.
