Horn Expands Production, Office Space

The company is investing the equivalent of some $76 million in the expansion which, it is said, will make the company’s Tübingen, Germany, manufacturing presence the largest in the area.

Horn has expanded its presence in Tübingen, Germany, with a new facility including some 129,000 square feet of new production space as well as a more than 37,000-square-foot office. The Factory III, which is to be completed at the end of 2016, will represent a 55 million-euro (about $60 million) investment.

The six-level office building will be built next to the main factory and existing office building. Horn is planning to include both offices and seminar rooms for customer training. The project represents a 15 million-euro (about $16 million) investment.
