Workholding supplier Hainbuch America has begun construction on its new North American headquarters in Mequon, Wisconsin. The 13,000-square-foot facility will bring manufacturing of the company’s workholding equipment to the United States for the first time. While the company has maintained offices in Milwaukee since 1997, all manufacturing to date has been performed at its world headquarters in Marbach, Germany.

“We are making an investment in our current and future American customers with the construction of this manufacturing plant,” says Jurgen Bettray, president of Hainbuch America. “They will have more immediate access to our products, technology and service. We are proud that we’ll not only keep jobs here in the Milwaukee area, but also be able to hire more workers.”
