Golf Tournament Raises Funds for Machine Technology Program

The annual tournament benefits a local community college.

The 4th Annual Manufacturing Technology Benefit Golf Tournament was held in September 2012 at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The tournament raised $33,000 for the machine technology program at Asnuntuck Community College (Enfield, Connecticut). More than 1,300 students have graduated from the program with certificates and degrees since its creation in 1998.
 
The event’s sponsors included CNC Engineering, Koma Precision and Mazak Corporation, among others. The fifth edition of the tournament will take place in September 2013.
