Gleason Acquires IMS Koepfer Cutting Tools

Gleason (Rochester, N.Y.) has completed its previously announced acquisition of IMS Koepfer Cutting Tools of Eisenbach, Germany, a producer of gear-cutting tools and related products and services formerly owned by IMS Gear and Koepfer Verzahnungsmaschinen. The company will be renamed Gleason Cutting Tools as a result of the acquisition.
