At the company’s annual general meeting in May, Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft (Bielefeld, Germany) voted to change its name to DMG Mori Seiki Aktiengesellschaft. The proposed change is intended to deepen the company’s partnership with DMG / Mori Seiki and strengthen the joint brand presence already established.
In addition, Gildemeister Aktiengesellschaft has elected Raimund Klinkner as chairman of its supervisory board. Dr. Klinkner succeeds former chairman Hans Henning Offen, who will continue to serve on the board.
