FMA Elects New Board, Officers
Traci Tapani was elected to the board of directors of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) Foundation at the group’s recent annual meeting. Current board members Jeffrey Knauf andr Delbert “Del” Mullens were elected to the positions of board chairman and secretary/treasurer, respectively. The nine-member board provides governance for the activities, affairs and property of the FMA Foundation.

Traci Tapani was elected to the board of directors of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association (FMA) Foundation at the group’s recent annual meeting. Current board members Jeffrey Knauf andr Delbert “Del” Mullens were elected to the positions of board chairman and secretary/treasurer, respectively. The nine-member board provides governance for the activities, affairs and property of the FMA Foundation.
Ms. Tapani, who co-owns Wyoming Machine, (Stacy, Minnesota), will serve a two-year term. In 1994, she and her sister Lori left careers in accounting and finance, respectively, to take over the family business from their father, Tom. Mr. Knauf, president of Medalist Laserfab (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), will serve a one-year term as chairman. He was first elected to the board in 2007. Mr. Mullens, managing partner of Spector Sales (Seattle, Washington), will serve the second year of his two-year term, which began in 2007.
Based in Rockford, Illinois, the FMA Foundation offers grants to non-profit organizations and educational institutions that introduce young people to metal forming and fabricating careers; provides funding to organizations that start or expand youth manufacturing camps; and issues scholarships to students pursuing manufacturing careers at colleges and trade schools.
