Fives Giddings & Lewis has appointed Helene Nimmer as general manager. She will report directly to Frederic Sanchez, Chairman and CEO, Fives Group.
Nimmer returns to Fives G&L following more than five years as vice president, sales and Marketing at Mid-States Aluminium Corp. in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Before her career with Mid-States, she worked at Fives Giddings & Lewis in many roles from 1997 to 2016. Prior to that, she spent two years in Essen, Germany, as a liaison to G&L for ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG in its Management Training Program.
In the general manager role, Nimmer will apply her vast experience in the industry along with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures as they relate to Fives’ business. Working with the knowledge of the G&L team, she will lead them to accomplish goals and objectives for the company, such as engineering, supply chain, planning, sales, project management and more.
