Exhibition to Deliver Interactive, Educational Experience
Organizers of an upcoming manufacturing exhibition intend to depart from the traditional tradeshow model to deliver a more interactive educational experience. imX—the interactive manufacturing eXperience (pronounced i-m-x) is said to combine the best features of the corporate open house, customer training sessions, client appreciation events and new product announcements in a single event. Scheduled for September 12 through 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the event is the result of years of collaboration between the American Machine Tool Distributors Association (AMTDA), the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and what have been dubbed eXperience partners.
