Event Focuses on Women in the Automotive Industry

The third annual Women in Automotive luncheon and panel discussion is co-located with the PMA’s Automotive Parts Supplier Conference.

Women in Manufacturing (WiM) and the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF) will co-host the third annual Women in Automotive luncheon and panel discussion featuring women manufacturers from the automotive industry. The event will take place on April 30 at the Baronette Renaissance Hotel in Novi, Mich.

Panel presenters are Anita Burke, vehicle chief engineer, General Motors Company; Carol Jean “CJ” Milner, supplier account manager, Renault Nissan Purchasing Organization; Marcy Klevorn, director, office of the CIO, Ford Motor Company; and Sonia Rief, director, exterior, thermal and accessory engineering, Nissan North America. Laurie Harbour, president and CEO of Harbour Results, will serve as the moderator. Panelists will share their experiences and address issues affecting women in the automotive sector.

The event will be co-located with the Precision Metalforming Association’s 21st annual Automotive Parts Supplier Conference.
