EMO Hannover 2011, the next edition of the world’s largest metalworking trade show, will feature a conference and complementary special show highlighting ongoing trends in aircraft construction September 22 and 23. Titled “New Production Technologies in the Aerospace Industry,” the conference will cover new machinery and production technologies; automation concepts in the aerospace sector; the planning and repair of CFRP components; and a focus on fiber-reinforced plastics and other lightweight materials that are increasingly used in aircraft construction.
