The Emag Technology School USA hosted its first class January 9 at machine tool builder Emag’s U.S. headquarters facility in Farmington Hills, Michigan. According to the company, the mission of new school is to assist manufacturers in better understanding inherently complex machining technology to achieve lasting performance improvements. 
 
Available courses focus on specific subject areas, including technology, maintenance, machine operation, programming and setup. Schedules are flexible to enable interested parties to configure a program that accommodates their own specific needs and interests, the company says.
