Delcam (Birmingham, United Kingdom) will become a subsidiary of Autodesk (San Rafael, California) following the latter’s acquisition of Delcam, which was announced earlier this year. Autodesk will acquire Delcam for approximately $277 million, with the deal expected to close in the first quarter of Autodesk’s 2015 fiscal year. Following the acquisition, Delcam will continue to focus on growing its market share in the manufacturing sector, with the added resources that will come from being part of the larger Autodesk organization.
