Metrology system supplier Aicon 3D Systems GmbH has agreed to supply PowerInspect software from CAD/CAM developer Delcam with its MoveInspect HR optical measuring system.
MoveInspect HR is a portable CMM consisting of high-resolution digital cameras and the developer’s hand-operated MI.Probe. As long as a line of sight exists between the probe and the camera, the system provides total freedom of movement around the object being measured, the company says. Supplying the system with PowerInspect is said to enable quick, easy analysis of metrology data, among other advantages.
