The NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., has become the first government member of the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CCAM) of Richmond, Va. NASA will bring access to government facilities and programs, and provide liaisons to CCAM’s industrial operations board and technical advisory council. NASA scientists will conduct research and development at both facilities and collaborate with the University of Virginia, Virginia State University and Virginia Tech as well as industry partners.
