Bunting Marks 50-Year Milestone
Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson recently signed a proclamation recognizing the 50th anniversary of Bunting Magnetics, which was founded on August 3, 1959 in Chicago. The proclamation, which occured in late July at the state capital in Topeka, highlighted the 30 years that Bunting has been headquartered in Newton, Kansas, as well as the company’s products.

Since its founding, the company has expanded to seven major locations. These include the Flexible Die Division in Newton; the Magnet Materials Division in Elk Grove Village, Illinois; the Magnet Applications Limited (MAL) manufacturing operation in Berkhamsted, England; the Magnet Application, Inc facility in Dubois, Pennsylvania; the purchasing office for Bunting China in Ningbo; and Alpha Magnetics Pty Ltd, the company’s official licensee in Boronia Victoria, Australia.
