ANSYS Acquires SpaceClaim

Engineering simulation software provider ANSYS (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) has acquired SpaceClaim, a Concord, Massachusetts-based developer of 3D modeling and other software solutions. The company will continue to develop and support its SpaceClaim Engineer software and modules. With the addition of SpaceClaim, ANSYS hopes to provide this software and other simulation tools to engineers in a wider number of industries.
