AMT Elects Board of Directors, Officers
The new terms began April 1.
AMT–The Association For Manufacturing Technology has elected its 2014-2015 board of directors and officers. Kevin J. Kilgallen, president of Mid Atlantic Machinery (Harrisburg, Pa.), has been appointed chairman of the board. Mr. Kilgallen succeeds R. Stephen Flynn in this position. During his term, Mr. Kilgallen plans to encourage members to become involved in AMT programs, support their local community colleges and trade schools, and write to U.S. senators and representatives about industry needs.
The board elected Jerry Rex, president of Hegman Machinery LLC (Maple Grove, Minn.), to serve as first vice chairman; and Richard L. Simons, chairman, president and CEO of Hardinge Inc. (Elmira, N.Y.), to serve as second vice chairman and treasurer. Brian J. Papke, president of Mazak Corp. (Florence, Ky.), was elected secretary.
