Renishaw has relocated its Additive Manufacturing Products Division (AMPD) to a larger, 90,000 ft2 facility in Stone, Staffordshire, U.K. According to the company, the new facility will showcase its expertise in fields including industrial metrology and spatial laser measurement in addition to additive manufacturing.

It will incorporate one of a network of global additive manufacturing solutions centers where companies interested in the technology can trial Renishaw’s AM systems and evaluate the suitability of additive manufacturing in a dedicated “hot cell,” before moving towards purchasing a system.
