Alro Steel Opens New Facility in Philadelphia Area

Alro Steel has opened a new facility in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. The 149,000-square-foot location includes extra storage space for expanded material offerings, including large structural shapes, bar products, sheets and plates, as well as the ability to warehouse special inventory programs. In addition, the company has added capacity to its processing services for bar and structural cutting, shearing and aluminum plate sawing. The new inventory and expanded processing services enable Alro to focus on cut-to-size metals and next-day delivery.
Alro Steel was founded in 1948 by brothers Al and Robert Glick, and is celebrating 75 years in 2023. The company is a distributor of metals, industrial supplies and engineering plastics. Alro operates over 75 locations in 15 states and provides a broad inventory of products under the following companies: Alro Steel, Alro Metals, Alro Metals Outlet, Alro Industrial Supply and Alro Plastics.
