Ahaus Tool & Engineering has purchased two new Haas machines for its Advanced Manufacturing Technology Lab, an apprenticeship program developed via a partnership with the Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana. The company's Rick and Kevin Ahaus and Jeff Sheridan were recognized for the gift at a reception on June 19. The new machines will enable students to learn new skills required in the modern manufacturing sector, the company says. Additionally, incumbent workers will have the opportunity to increase their skills in new technologies and processes via specially designed industry courses.
