AFM Creates New Association of Machining Companies
AFMEC will provide services to machining, boiler-making and metal-forming companies.
Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AFM), the Machine Tool, Accessories, Component Parts and Tools Manufacturers’ Association of Spain, has created a new association of machining companies in Elgoibar, Spain. The Mechanical Engineering Association of Spain (AFMEC) was created to group together and provide services to machining, boiler-making and metalforming companies, and all others related to metal-mechanical transformation.
AFMEC aims to promote cooperation between businesses and provide its members with professional services. The association will provide a forum upon which a coherent and differentiated image of the machining and metalworking industry can be defined.
The association is driven by AFM and headquartered in the Technology and Science Park of Guipuzcoa, Spain. Membership is open to machining and metalworking-related companies.
