The Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) has announced the lineup of speakers for its annual conference in Costa Mesa, California from April 22-26. They include Todd Grimm, president of T.A. Grimm & Associates; Jeff DeGrange, Stratasys’ vice president of direct digital manufacturing; and Dr. Ofer Shochet, Objet’s executive vice president of research and development.
Mr. Grimm’s presentation, titeld “Fountain of Truth: Connecting With Those That Know,” will open the event. Mr. DeGrange’s presentation, “Technology Transition to Production,” will disucss how rapid prototyping technologies have evolved over time to meet the requirements of production parts. Dr. Shochet will present “Multi-Material 3D Printing and the Digital Material Revolution,” which will cover the past, present and future of this additive manufacturing capability.
Other highlights of the five-day conference include break-out sessions, workshops, hands-on training and technical competitions. Attendees will also be treated to a two-night Exhibitor Expo and an Awards Banquet gala.
