Absolute Opens Chicago-Area Facility

Absolute Machine Tools has established a 26,000-square-foot technical center in Elgin, Illinois, approximately 40 miles northwest of Chicago. The company has been doing business in the Chicago area for about 20 years, and the facility is a step toward offering greater support for area customers.

Michael Land has been named general manager of the new building, which will house applications engineering, sales, parts inventory and a machine demonstration showroom, among other services.
