Absolute and AccuteX EDM to Host Oktoberfest

The company will highlight new machine tool offerings with a Bavarian-themed open house.

Absolute Machine Tools and its AccuteX EDM division will host an Oktoberfest open house October 2 at its 40,000-square-foot Technical Center in Mason, Ohio. Scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the event will feature Bavarian foods, beers and costumes as well as the company’s latest North American machine tool offerings.

Machines to be highlighted include Nexturn Swiss-type lathes, Precihole deep-hole and gundrilling machines, and the AccuteX wire EDM linear series. A special automation display will feature a FANUC robot tending a graphite mill with a die-sinker machine producing electrodes. The company will also showcase new machine models in existing lines, including You Ji vertical turret lathes, Johnford sliding double-column machining centers, Tongtai horizontal machining centers, QuickTech multi-axis turning centers, and a variety of AccuteX EDM wire, sinker and hole-drilling machines.
