3D Systems Signs Agreement to Acquire Geomagic

3D Systems (Rock Hill, South Carolina) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Geomagic (Morrisville, North Carolina), a provider of 3D authoring solutions for product creation and inspection. The two companies have worked together on 3D content-to-print solutions in the past. The acquisition is expected to close during the first quarter of 2013.
