3D Systems Buys Rapidform

3D Systems (Rock Hill, South Carolina), a provider of additive manufacturing systems and software, has acquired Rapidform (Seoul, South Korea), a provider of 3D scan-to-CAD and inspection software tools.  

 

The company says the addition of Rapidform broadens its range of capabilities with complementary products and technology and extends its coverage and breadth globally with a footholds in South Korea and Japan. The acquisition is also expected to aid  efforts to create a seamless, digital scan, design and print platform for customers.
