Welcome to Chicago. There’s so much to see, learn and experience at IMTS 2018, but hopefully you’ve also carved out some time to enjoy the city. Here are a few possibilities for your Chicago bucket list.

  • Why not check out a Broadway show? This week you can catch Hamilton and Tootsie. For info visit broadwayinchicago.com.
  • Speaking of bucket lists, is catching a Cubs game at Wrigley Field one of those iconic things you’d like to be able to say you’ve done? The Chicago Cubs are facing off against the Milwaukee Brewers (September 10-12) and the Cincinnati Reds (September 14-16). More info at mlb.com/cubs.
  • Looking to take in some culture? World Music Festival Chicago, a city-wide, multi-venue festival, is happening this month. You can catch free concerts at various locations including the Chicago Cultural Center and Millennium Park. For info visit worldmusicfestivalchicago.org.
  • If craft beer is your scene, check out Friday Night Flights on the Chicago Riverwalk. The scenic waterfront park is hosting more than 15 local breweries Friday. More info at choosechicago.com.
  • Prefer wine? Shoreline Sightseeing and Lynfred Winery are partnering for a 90-minute evening cruise on the Chicago River this Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Enjoy tastings of a selection of fine wines, light refreshments and scenic views of the Chicago skyline. For more info visit shorelinesightseeing.com.
  • If you’re ready to rock, Maroon 5 is playing at United Center on Friday during a stop on their Red Pill Blues Tour 2018. Doors open at 8 p.m. For more info visit center-chicago.com.
