After its successful debut in North America with more than 300 conference participants, Trends in Advanced Machining, Manufacturing and Materials (TRAM) will once again return to Chicago and the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) this September.

Presented by the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), AMT-the Association For Manufacturing Technology, Modern Machine Shop and High Performance Composites, the conference program focuses on upcoming trends and advancements in manufacturing technology within the aerospace industry.

The event sponsor, The Boeing Company, recently announced that Greg Hyslop will be the keynote speaker Wednesday morning at the show. Greg is the vice president and general manager of Boeing Research & Technology, the advanced central research and development unit of The Boeing Company.

In addition to Mr. Hyslop, TRAM will also feature Ricardo Traven, Boeing’s chief test pilot for the F/A-18, as well as Peter Hoffman, vice president of intellectual property management.

Adrian Allen, commercial director of the AMRC and technical director of the TRAM event says the keynote presenters will offer attendees insight into the aerospace industry that they wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else.

Attendees of the TRAM conference will also have free access to the IMTS exhibit hall and be invited to participate in a networking reception on Wednesday evening.
