- SDP/SI – Human Resources
- Straton Industries – Machining Technology
- MetalQuest – Shopfloor Practices
- AceCo Precision – Business Strategies
Along with the unveiling of this year’s four program winners, Modern Machine Shop’s annual Top Shops benchmarking survey results include a detailed data analysis report as well as identification of emerging operational and business metrics. The annual survey enables owners and managers of U.S. CNC machine shops to compare their operations’ performance and practices against industry leaders in the four primary categories listed above.
“Each year, Honors Program winners are vetted and selected by me from a top-tier benchmarking group established from answers to select survey questions,” says Derek Korn, Modern Machine Shop’s executive editor and technical director for the magazine’s Top Shops benchmarking program and conference. “This year’s honorees demonstrate a dedication to improving manufacturing operations and a willingness to share and learn from others.”
The Top Shop awards will be handed out during the grand reception at the third annual Top Shops Conference September 9-11 in Cincinnati. The 2019 Honorees will also be part of a panel discussion where they will elaborate on ways they have improved as a shop and grown their business. Register for next month’s Top Shop Conference.
