View MoreMC Machinery Systems Inc. is expanding its corporate image to emphasize the growth it has experienced over the last two years, according to James Barrera, marketing coordinator. “We have grown a lot, starting with our move from a dated, 100,000-square-foot facility in Wood Dale, Illinois, to a brand new, state-of-the-art 175,000-square-foot facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in April 2017,” he says. The new building features a 50,000-square-foot showroom for demonstrations and an immense warehouse dedicated to shipping consumables and parts much more quickly.
Reflective of these exciting changes, MC Machinery has moved from exhibiting in the North Building of McCormick Place to the larger South Building. The booth puts an emphasis on all things metalcutting as well as automation and consumable products. “We are promoting the wide variety of capabilities we have to offer. Automation for various machines and high-precision machining, including wire and sinker EDM and advanced milling and turning machines, is the primary focus with the machines at the show,” Barrera says. Attendees will also see live web demonstrations of remote360, MC Machinery’s remote monitoring and support solution, several times each day.
NASCAR enthusiasts should make a point of stopping by the MC Machinery booth tomorrow around midday to meet a driver from the Joe Gibbs Racing Team. The driver will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. (Barrera says the identity of the driver depends on NASCAR playoff schedules, so watch social media for more immediate details!)
IMTS attendees should also be on the lookout for a young lady who is collecting entries for the company’s electronics raffle. Several iPads will be given away, with winners drawn after the show.
