Leaders-In background

The Edge Factor’s tour of judges for its “Reality Redesigned” contest included a visit to Cane Creek Cycling Components in the company of representatives from Sandvik Coromant. These two videos both discuss Cane Creek’s decision to bring previously outsourced machining work back in-house. As you’ll see in the videos, two reasons the company wants to be its own supplier are: to more easily ensure that work meets the company’s quality standards and to innovate more rapidly. In-house manufacturing speeds innovation because Cane Creek’s engineers can advance through design iterations more quickly.
