Because everyone out in Internet land can access it, it’s known as an external blog. But did you know that there are also password-protected internal blogs? I suggest considering how that type of communication device might be of value to your company.
Large businesses, including IBM, Microsoft and Northwestern Mutual, use internal blogs so that select people—not all Web surfers—can access and add to private information about current projects, company practices, and so on. Why shouldn’t a machining business have one?
