Air Turbine Tools’ air-driven high speed spindle rotates the 4-mm tool at 40,000 rpm, which is advanced at 1,200 ipm with at depth of cut of 0.005 inch. Combined with high torque under cutting load, the compact, rigid construction of the 625JS model spindle is said to enable the programmer to position the head to cut at various angles along the wall of the tire mold faster while producing a fine finished surface.
