Leaders-In background

Florida governor Rick Scott recently held an event to make the case for eliminating sales taxes on manufacturing equipment. The location, and the company he chose to highlight, was Coastal Steel of Cocoa, Florida. Manufacturing equipment this company has purchased recently includes a Hurco five-axis 3-meter DCX32 machining center, making Coastal the very first user of this new Hurco machine. A manufacturer whose portfolio includes some distinctive Florida successes, Coastal has made structures for attractions such as the Animal Kingdom Expedition Everest, Magic Kingdom Mission: Space and the 90-foot tall Mickey's Sorcerer's Hat at Disney MGM Studios.
