Hypertherm has launched an educational Web site, PlasmaEducation.com, to help educators, students and others learn more about plasma cutting. The site contains a number of reference articles on plasma topics ranging from an explanation about how plasma cutting works, to expert advice about how to make better cuts and how to increase the life of consumables. Visitors can learn about the differences between oxyfuel and plasma and find a listing of some of the free, interactive classes available through the Hypertherm Cutting Institute.
