CAD/CAM System Automates NC Programming
Release 5 of Tebis America’s version 4.0 CAD/CAM system is designed to help users accelerate processes without functional restrictions.
Release 5 of Tebis America’s version 4.0 CAD/CAM system is designed to help users accelerate processes without functional restrictions. Updated features encompass machine simulation, tool seats, tool search in feature machining and tool exchange in the job manager.
NC programming is largely automated based on templates with process libraries that are designed to enable fast and reliable processes. Users can also edit large and complex parts.
The company identified bottleneck processes that result in long wait times and resource conflicts, and adapted its system to optimize available memory. Multi-core parallel processing technology is also integrated to save time, especially in calculating NC programs for re-roughing. Time optimization enables parts to be loaded, shaded and saved.
