View MoreSince its founding in 1962, Mate Precision Technologies (Mate) has designed nearly 10,000 custom workholding solutions for its global customer base. Equipped with this experience, Mate machinists understand what other machinists are looking for in a precision workholding system.
Enter Mate’s 52/96 workholding system. Engineered to maximize holding power for three-axis, four-axis and five-axis machining centers, the workholding system aims to reduce setup times and process variability. Mate workholding is designed with accuracy and repeatability in a compact, quick-change, modular design in mind. The system is also compatible with similar 52mm and 96mm four post pull stud configurations from Lang, Jergens, 5th Axis, Gerardi and others.

Mate’s workholding system includes a full range of vises, bases and mounts. DynoGrip self-centering vises feature maximum holding power in a compact system with minimal part movement and zero-point quality engagement with a four-post pull stud pattern. The vises come in 13 sizes and three widths. DynoLock quick-change bases provide zero-point quality engagement with a four-post stud pattern, accuracy and repeatability. The bases are available in 11 size variations. DynoMount system includes tombstones, pyramids, risers and dual right-angle mounts that feature zero-point quality engagement for four-point stud patterns.
Mate will showcase its new 52/96 workholding system at IMTS 2022 in booth #432146. This will be the first time the system is displayed for the public at a live event.
