A bench- or pedestal-mounted ball swivel work positioning system, PivotLok’s PL325 is designed to allow the user to bring the work to their hands. With a 40-lb load capacity and 360-degree rotation, the product uses ball-pivoting positioning to place the work anywhere within a full hemisphere. It is useful for processes such as assembly, polishing, welding, soldering, refurbishing and other applications that require easy work repositioning.
To prevent injury or accidental dropping of the workpiece, the product’s “hands free, hands off” locking system automatically locks the work in place when users remove their hands from the actuating lever. CNC machined using 6061-T6 aluminum billet, the product features a porosity-free casting, heat-treated steel wear parts and an epoxy powder coat.
