Now available from Marathon Welding Automation, a division of Orbitform, Inc., the M-Series resistance welder is useful for small- to medium-sized parts. Available as a complete system or a base for custom integration, the welder comes in 16", 32" and 48" standard widths with a 16" upper and lower platen depth.
Able to incorporate multiple guns for custom resistance, spot or projection welding, the product is suitable for a variety of materials, including steel and stainless. Other features include vertically adjustable upper and lower platens, X and Y servo-driven fixtures and an automatic part removal option. According to the company, the welder is easy to integrate with bowl feeders, and palm buttons or light curtains can enhance operator safety.
